15th Annual Appliqué Academy - A residential 4 day conference with a daily class and catered
event. You can add class days before the conference - or add an extra day
at the end. These days are a bit more intimate, having fewer attendees: A
good way to ease your way into the Conference, or to wind down at the end. |

Dear Friends,
Planning
is underway for the 15th Annual Appliqué Academy! Won’t
you come join us in 2010? Classes
and our home away from home are at the Williamsburg Hospitality
House, a gracious, two restaurant Inn adjacent to Olde Towne in
Williamsburg, Virginia. In February, costumed colonial re-enactors
still outnumber tourists, so we quilters reign!
The Academy site is spectacular: Small cafés, quaint gift
shops, and Williamsburg "the Living Museum" herself -
just steps away. You'll appreciate the Academy's two hour
lunch breaks, her catered socials for sharing fun and appliqué,
and open-classroom evenings - where quiet stitching and
friendships bloom.
Colonial Williamsburg renews one. The past is alive; the present
slows; the future smiles. Your fellow quiltmakers hail from around
the world while faculty and staff devote themselves to your
edification and happiness.
