Dear Friends,
Planning is underway for the 19th Annual
Appliqué Academy!
Won’t you come join us in 2015?
Classes and our home away from home will
be held at the beautiful Kingsmill Resort and Spa,
just minutes away from Olde Towne in
Williamsburg, Virginia. In February, costumed
colonial re-enactors still outnumber tourists, so we
quilters reign!
The Academy site is
spectacular: Small cafés, quaint gift shops,
and Williamsburg "the Living Museum" herself - just
steps away. You'll appreciate Ms Tesaa's
two hour lunch breaks, her catered socials for
sharing fun and appliqué, and open-classroom
evenings - where quiet stitching and friendships
bloom.
Colonial Williamsburg renews one. The past is alive;
the present slows; the future smiles. Your fellow
quiltmakers hail from around the world while faculty
and staff devote themselves to your edification and
happiness.
Please come join us.
Bette and I would love your company!
Cordially, Elly Sienkiewicz
